NCL, in partnership with the GW Competition & Innovation Lab, hosted the conference “Artificial Intelligence and Consumer Fraud: Risks, Responses, and Policy Solutions” on September 17, 2025, at George Washington University. This conference examined how organized criminals are leveraging Al to power the next wave of fraud, highlighted best practices and Al-driven tools being used to prevent scams, and explored policy solutions needed to better protect consumers.
