In this video, we take stand-up paddleboards deep into El Nido’s Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon, drifting through ancient limestone cliffs before sharing a simple ocean bento lunch prepared by El Nido Resorts, balanced on boards, surrounded by still water, sunlight, and silence.
El Nido, Palawan is known for fast island hopping tours, but this day was about slowing everything down paddling instead of riding kayaks, listening and flowing instead of rushing and being directed, letting the lagoons decide the pace.
From glassy water and hidden coves to quiet moments of balance and presence, this experience reminded me that adventure doesn’t have to be loud to be unforgettable.
