Описание: Question: What is a “parting line” in injection molding? Answer:The line of separation on the plastic portion where the two halves of the plastic injection mold meet is known as a 'parting line.' The line actually represents the parting 'plane' that runs through it. This plane can be a simple, flat surface in more basic plastic component design plans, but it is frequently a complex form that tracks the perimeter of the part around the various features that make up the part's outside "silhouette." Keep in mind that the melt will always flow toward the parting line because it is where the displaced air may easily escape or vent.
