A massive fire broke out at Palayam in Kozhikode. The blaze occurred at Jayalakshmi Textiles, located near the railway station. The fire spread rapidly across the second and third floors of the textile showroom. Fire and rescue teams from the Meenchanda, Beach, and Vellimadukunnu fire stations rushed to the spot. After hours of intense firefighting efforts, they managed to bring the situation under control.
