After recently completing an experiment that required a 2% sand-bed slope, we needed to reset our main channel for an incoming experiment. SAFL staff initiated a flow that helped 'flush' the system and redistribute sediment, but it was a great moment to observe a suite of hydrologic and sediment transport patterns and phenomena!
