Many wonderful costumes for our eyes to adore
Ghoulish critters waking from their restless sleep
With children running around offering a trick or a treat

Spooks and goblins, vampires and undead
Many a creature to behold and dread
Once a year they roam free at night
Hoping to give kids a terrible fright

Well-lit faces guiding their way
So they may begin to hunt their prey
Offering these phantoms a short reprieve
On this very night of All Hallows’ Eve
