Описание: Bay Area Trout Fishing - Lake Del Valle - I managed to catch my first lightning trout of the year - Green Atomic Teaser did the trick for the 4-5lb lightning trout.

Lightning trout are sometimes mixed in with the regular trout from Mt Lassen Hatchery. These hard fighting fish are finicky at times but are fun to catch when you get one to bite.

Lassen Trout (i.e. Rainbow Trout from the Mt Lassen Hatchery) are planted at the local lakes here in the Bay Area. Lake Chabot, Shadow Cliffs, Lake Del Valle, Lake Temescal, Quarry Lakes, Los Vaqueros Reservoir and Contra Loma Reservoir. It is stated that there is a mix of 70-30 regular size to whopper size, and they are fun to catch on the Mini-Jig and Spoons.

California Department of Fish and Wildlife also plants trout at these local lakes usually on the smaller side 8-12 in. (nickname DFG's)
