Today I'm answering this question, "Why do datasheets show OPT primary impedance go down as plate voltage goes up?". To answer, I look at the design value interplay of plate voltage, screen voltage, bias point, speaker impedance and OPT turns ratio and hopefully show that the question's answer is little more than a simple calculation.
