Описание: VRX is proud to celebrate a successful F1 Tunnel boat racing season with Brook Butler, who announced his partnership with VRX earlier this year.

VRX and Brook partnered up to develop the next phase of VRX LIVE to bring virtual ride-alongs to the world of boat racing.

The team have spent the season testing and refining the technology through video and motion data capture tests in order to produce the most realistic and immersive experience available.

“We’ve made such great strides in the technology this year,” says Robert Stanners, CEO/Founder of VRX. “Working with Brook has allowed us to really improve the VRX LIVE experience. Brook is a talented racer and we’re very much looking forward to unveiling our real-time virtual ride-along for his last race of the season”.

VRX LIVE is designed to bridge the gap between location-based entertainment (LBE) and real-world events. By installing special hardware into a vehicle, video, audio and motion-data can be captured and transmitted in real-time.

By leveraging 5G and high-speed cellular connections, VRX LIVE allows fans of various sports to experience the action as if they were sitting in the passenger seat. Whether it be Formula 1, NASCAR, boat racing or formation flying in an F16, the geographical constraints are no longer a factor when it comes to engaging with the sport.

“VRX is working on some really cool stuff,” says Brook Butler. “Being a part of developing this technology has been incredible to watch. It’s a game changer for the fans of any sport and allows niche sports like tunnel boat racing to reach an audience all over the world. Being able to see, hear and feel everything I do as I rip around the course at 140+ mph would be exciting for anyone!”

VRX will announce the virtual VRX LIVE stream demonstration in the coming weeks.

With VRX’s new partnership with digital entertainment studio Bunker Digital, who specialize in; software, pipeline and tools development, and real-time content creation, anticipation is primed for even more immersive and interactive projects in the near future.
