HOSE SYSTEM IS GREAT, BUT I FOUND A BETTER SYSTEM FOR THE GAUGES!!! NEW VIDEO: • Installing Mopeka Tank Check (024-1000), B...
Carrying an extra propane tank just for the full size grill in the Jayco Seismic 4113 was very inconvenient, and not too safe. I found that the Toy Hauler had two quick connect fittings underneath at the rear, on the passenger side. I decided to make a 15' hose that can connect to these fittings and provide propane to the grill from the two 30# onboard tanks. This will eliminate the need to carry around that pesky extra tank! There is a materials list at the end of the video if you want to try this as well. I also added pressure gauges to the RV propane tanks, and replaced the original pigtails to the RV with longer, braided stainless steel pigtails.
Keep in mind, that in order for this to work, you have to remove the pigtail/regulator from the grill. The RV has a regulator coming off of the bottles, and it will not be enough pressure to properly flow through a second regulator. I will carry the original pigtail/regulator with me in case this does not work well, or if I want to use a separate bottle for whatever reason. I will give an update on how this works in a future video. Thank you for watching, and I hope it might help someone out!
