Yosemite National Park - Yosemite Falls (2019)

Описание: Yosemite National Park is not only packed with endless adventures such as Yosemite Falls Trail; Yosemite is a place that has humbled humans and commanded a deep level of respect for all of know history. Yosemite National Park is located in the Western Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. This mountain range is home to massive granite peaks, Giant Sequoia Trees, and the main feature of our hike today - The TALLEST WATERFALL in North America - Yosemite Falls. There are actually two sections of this particular waterfall due to its enormous size. (upper and lower) Our hike today will focus on the Upper Falls Trail. This 7.2 Mile trail will climb from the valley floor to the top of the waterfall gaining 3,175 ft. Of elevation. This hike is difficult and proper preparations should be taken before embarking on the climb. The entire hike is filled with amazing views of Yosemite Valley, chances to see wildlife, and remains slightly less crowed due to the difficult climb. With that being said about 4 million people visit Yosemite National Park annually, so per usual, D’n’A Ventures recommends arriving in the park and staring your hike early in the day. Also this hike is mostly exposed and your hiking on granite, it gets super hot and can be very dangerous in storms. Unfortunately, people have passed away attempting to climb the falls. You're climbing up 3,175 ft and have access to many sheer cliffs. Please use caution and play it extra safe. The views from the top are guaranteed to take whatever breath away you have left from the intense climb. The access point to the Falls overlook is gnarly, composed of a single use handrail and a narrow stair set that walks you down the face of a cliff. If you're looking for a hike that pumps your adrenaline, tests your endurance, and offers some of the best views of Yosemite National Park from atop the tallest waterfall in North America; Then D’n’A Ventures highly recommends The Upper Yosemite Falls Trail.
