Bodiam Castle Sussex moated casle

Описание: We are using the Dartford crossing to get into Essex & Kent and make our way to Broadstairs Botany Beach/ Bay. Once at the beach we had some chicken sandwiches & chicken burgers whicj we brought from home. We then made our way to Canterbury city centre, parked at the Queningate Car park then we will stroll around the historic Cathedral, the old style cobbled street, grab a tea from Siip before taking a boat tour on Stour River by Historic Canterbury River Tours. It was an enjoyable experience with our guide Fio. We then proceeded to Dover where we planned to have dinner. We are eating at Tops Pizza as one of the very few places serving a completely halal menu. We then drove to Whitfield to our Airbnb for the night.

After a good night's sleep we woke up to have some naan & haleem (homemade and stayed cold in the cooler box) and the kids had some left chicken sandwiches.  We also brought some frozen chicken goujon in the cooler box which we cooked during breakfast time in wraps for lunch later today. Our first destination after checking out was Abbots Cliffs in Capel Le Ferne Folkestone. We then made our way to Bodiam Castle in Robertsbridge. We stopped briefly in Peasmarch for the Jempsons & Jet services. Bodiam Castle is a moat castle meaning a castle built around water one of the few castles of this kind in England. Walking the grounds of the castle was quite mesmerising though the weather wasnt too favourable. For lunch we had the wraps made in the morning and some snacks then made our way to Birling Gap The Seven Sisters Cliffs.  The scenic views of the South Coast of England is indeed amazing.
We then travelled to South London more precisely Balham for dinner at Pasha Mangal a Turkish restaurant which marks the end of our trip.
