Описание: It's our final classroom setup day! Day FOUR!! Today we are putting the final touches on the classroom. My goal of creating a comfortable, productive and organized space to welcome my 2024-2025 group of students is just about complete! It's crazy to me that this is the 13th time I have set up a classroom. Sometimes it feels like it has been so much longer and sometimes I can't believe it's been that long! But here we are, about to embark on year 13.

It's been a labor of love, but it is so satisfying to see where we started and where we are now that we are wrapping this project up. I've got to say, this has been the smoothest classroom set up to date. I'm happy to share that I feel the new method I tried out worked great! This year, to tackle the chaos that is reopening a classroom after it has been packed up for weeks, I broke it down into clear steps. On Day 1 we set out to tackle the big items. We arranged furniture items and got the layout of the classroom finalized. On Day 2 we focused exclusively on organizing E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! This meant we tackled bookshelves, weeding through materials that were no longer needed and organized everything else that we crossed paths with. And then, came today, Day 3. Decorating day! This process, first tackle furniture items, next organize everything and lastly decorate (even if the last step turns into 2 days instead of the originally intended 1), has been quite successful! It only took me 13 years of setting up classrooms to really feel like I am in the groove with how to break apart the process of reopening.a classroom, but, as they say, better late than never. Now back to today's vlog! Let's finish up the decorating and put our final stamp of approval on this classroom!
