Despite the title of this vlog I did the EMR diversion first from Leeds to Sheffield. I was going to pop into Meadowhall for a few minutes, but with no train or tram for some time I decided to flag that. I guess I could’ve got a bus, but I didn’t think about that at the time.
I decided to stay with the Hull train right through and change there for Hutton Cranswick. Whilst this was a new tick I couldn’t tick Arram off because nothing is currently calling there for whatever reason!
The canal At Wansford was a refreshing break and I enjoyed that; just wish I could’ve spent a bit more time there!
On returning home I went via Doncaster to do the LNER diversion via Hambleton. Sadly the battery ran out so I couldn’t film that! Grrr!
When I arrived back in Leeds I was annoyed at there not being a 20:47 Transpennine service for Cottingley! Luckily enough I was early arriving in Leeds so jumped on the Northern Huddersfield via Halifax service one stop to Bramley. I rang for a taxi and it was waiting when I got there! I actually got home slightly earlier than expected doing this!
