The Fretboard Summit in Chicago was a huge whirlwind of reconnections and overdue IRL meetings! And of course: the many, many stunning guitars.

Virgile Pilon of Blind Guitars brought two stunning Ancient Cypress guitars, including his 100th, an incredible Ditson-inspired model. So great to get the scoop on design changes he's made over the years.

‪@aaronlucasguitars‬ supplied the Ancient Cypress both Virgile and Jeff used, and is a builder himself. Needless to say, I had to get the back story on this beautiful, intriguing wood, too.
