This world values ones skills; it appreciates ones talent and it honors ones popularity. Most recognized personalities across the globe can be categorized into one of these three categories: either they are highly skilled, talented or popular. Oration is one of such skills, developed over one’s innate talent of captivating an audience. A great orator could potentially entertain and influence millions of people and gain unimaginable popularity and fame within the society. The influence could be massive, potentially up to the governments' affairs and their political operations. However, it is a temporary stature which is destined to diminish eventually as it is not necessary that an influential orator and a publicly revered personality is essentially noble and principled. One could be a great Orator, an unparalleled influential personality and yet equally miserable and despicable at life.

Thus, public appearance can never determine one’s innate characteristics. One can only comprehend the true attributes of a person by keenly observing his public and private life for a substantial amount of time.

Sadguru Muktanand Swami has minutely studied the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan over the course of 30 years. He has witnessed the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan from a young ascetic to the leader of a Sampraday to the Guru of millions of devotees to the one of the most revered personality as the manifest form of God across the 18th century India. He was 23 years older than Bhagwan Swaminarayan, a Sadguru Sant, a diligent and enlightened devotee, an utterly honest and thorough personality and one of the most brilliant and scholar sadhu throughout the west Indian region.

Thus, when he is mesmerized by the discourses of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, it is indeed a speech of absolute Divinity, Wisdom and Knowledge. S. Muktanand Swami writes in this bandish that the speech of Bhagwan Swaminarayan is so Divine that it feels as if nectar is being showered at us through his discourses. His words are so pure and blissful that he is never satisfied listening to them. Swami states in the last stanza that ultimately, Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s words eliminates all the sorrows and miseries of this world. These are the words of pure experience, a statement of unbiased brilliance, a song of absolute bliss.

We pray that may we attain such bliss and peace upon listening to such divine words of S. Muktanand Swami in this bandish.
