STOL Aircraft in Norwood Massachusetts produced the UC-1 Twinbee which was a conversion of the Republic RC-3 Seabee. The plane was produced under it's own type certificate as a new aircraft. The Twinbee can take off in 375 feet on land and 11 seconds at gross weight on the water. This video is a montage of footage of the UC-1 in action.
