For thousands of years, wild camels have roamed the vast plains of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia and China, but they are now critically endangered. A remote sensing specialist, Liu uses tracking collars and remote sensing satellite technology to help study the elusive camels across 200,000 square kilometres of inhospitable terrain.
