9 Month Old | 2 Week Post Frenectomy Update | Lip & Tongue Tie

This video is a 2-week update after my 9 month old's Frenectomy. My husband and I found out that our son had a severe lip and tongue tie that was preventing him from eating when he was 6 months old.

While we understand that this is common and a lot of parents who breastfeed find this out early, our son has a milk-protein allergy which prevented him from being breastfed.

We hope that sharing this, will help other parents understand more about lip and tongue tie symptoms and that getting the surgery at an early age is normal.

If you don't know what a tongue or lip tie is I will be showing you as my 9-month-old gets this procedure. As mentioned in a previous video, this has been a long time coming so for the first week of recovery I decided that it would be helpful to show his recovery process to help other families who might have questions or who are going through the same thing.
