Join me as I walk through Beacon Hill in Boston MA with historical commentary. Boston has a rich history. I start on the corner of Cambridge Street and Joy Street. I'll walk past the Peter Faneuil House on Joy Street, the Museum of African American History (formerly Abiel Smith School) and African Meeting House (the oldest surviving Black church structure in the nation). I think head down Pinckney Street past the Charles Middleton House, one of the oldest standing homes on Beacon Hill. I go past the Phillips School on Anderson Street which was built in 1824, and named after Boston's first mayor, John Phillips. I then cut over to Acorn Street through beautiful Louisburg Square which is named after the battle of Louisburg. Finally I walk down Charles Street, home to many beautiful shops and architecture pointing out the Sunflower house and many other buildings such as the Church of the Advent and Charles Street Meeting House.
