This is a work-in-progress gameplay clip from Kukata: Word of Ghosts, an indie horror game inspired by Malaysian folklore.
This video shows the typing-based battle system, where combat plays out like an RPG encounter — but instead of buttons or skills, the player types words under pressure.
👻 In this system:
Battles use an RPG-style interface
Typing accuracy affects danger and outcomes
Ghosts react dynamically to player input
The goal is to make combat feel tense and psychological, not just fast.
