5 full days of flying in Bassano/Italy. Of course I enjoyed not only my airtime but also a lot of pizza!
Finally, I had my first longer flights. That also meant getting to know new Take-Offs and landing areas. At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of people at the Take-Off and in the air. But in the end it wasn't as stressful as I thought. Being able to share the experience with lots of other people was just amazing. I could learn some new maneuvers as well as how to thermal. Thus I could extend my time in the air a few times because I found some nice thermals. Staying in the air for an hour is so special! Also enjoyed the time with the group and in the mountains!
Now I know what I still need to improve - learning never stops - so I get safer as well. Every day there was at least one accident where someone crashed into a tree. That was sometimes terrifying to see. But I know what I'm doing this for as I really love flying. See you in the air (and not in some tree hopefully)!
