Control Is An Illusion

This past year has been nothing like I planned. I thought I’d be building a booming business in Ghana, coaching with clients, and fully “set.” Instead, I found myself resting, decompressing, creating journals, writing a book, and—most importantly—learning to just be.

✨ What I’ve learned:

Social media isn’t real life—be kind.
Nobody has it all together, no matter how it looks online.
You can’t control other people, only yourself.
Releasing the need for control is freeing.
Choosing you first creates the space for everything else to flow.

And here’s the wild part: once I let go of how I thought things had to look, opportunities started coming—like being called to lead a yoga session on a reality show.

So if you’re feeling like you’re behind or “not enough,” remember:
🌀 Control is an illusion.
🌿 Grace is the work.
