As we have already established on this channel, Buteyko breathing is an incredibly powerful tool to help us address many issues that can affect us both physically and mentally.
We are all faced by a very busy and hectic world that is constantly feeding us new information and vying for our attention. On top of our daily concerns at home and at work, the stresses can sometimes start to get in top of us, leaving us with anxiety and racing thoughts.
We can often be faced with racing thoughts at night and during the day. Racing thoughts along with feelings of anxiety and panic can occupy our mind excessively and can negatively affect our health, but only if we let them.
Practicing Buteyko breathing exercises is the gateway to stop racing thoughts and quieten the mind. Mindfulness can only be truly effective when dysfunctional breathing is addressed. It all comes back to the breath, get your breathing right and a quiet mind will follow.
