David Grissom’s multifaceted oeuvre comprises a slew of stage and studio performances; he’s played alongside the likes of John Mellencamp, the Allman Brothers, the Chicks, Eric Johnson, Buddy Guy, and Bob Dylan, to name a few. He’s also found critical acclaim for his work with Storyville, the blues-rock outfit he cofounded in 1993 that sits at the intersection of his multi-genre playstyle. Needless to say, Grissom’s distinctive chops require a finely tailored tone, and PRS answered the call to craft a signature amp capable of supporting his versatile yet characteristic output. Thus, the DGT 15 was born: a 15-watt tube head with a formidable suite of tone-crafting features, painstakingly modeled after a multitude of prized vintage amps from Grissom’s personal collection.
