‘Must Contribute To India’s Development’: CDS Anil Chauhan Stresses ‘Viksit Uttarakhand By 2027’

Описание: Speaking at the Raibaar programme, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan stressed that as India moves towards becoming a developed nation by 2047, Uttarakhand should not only benefit from this growth but also actively contribute to it. He said collective efforts are needed to ensure the state’s development keeps pace with national progress and added that Uttarakhand should aim to provide leadership in this journey. General Chauhan called for a clear vision of “Viksit Uttarakhand by 2047” and suggested preparing a vision document by compiling inputs and suggestions received during the Raibaar programme for submission to the state government. He also underlined the importance of security, saying a developed Uttarakhand must be secure, given its status as a border state, with focus on environmental, human and economic security.
