My last morning on trail and I finally managed a pre-6am start! By then it wasn’t as much about the views anymore but more about finishing, sore feet and all.
The pass between Theth and Valbonë is one of the most popular sections of the entire hike, and it showed. After a week of (mostly) peace and quiet, the crowds and donkey trains felt a bit overwhelming.
14km / 8.8 miles later I was back in Valbonë, ending the day with a hot chocolate and mountain views one last time. ✨
