North Wales is a beautiful area to explore. In July 2019 we completed a 3 day mini cycle tour here on a route with very little traffic. However, there were some very steep hills at 17 – 20% gradient. The weather was great with sunshine for most of the time which is quite unusual for Wales.
Featured places: Bala Lake, Trawsfynydd Lake, Harlech Castle, Shell Island, Barmouth, Barmouth Bridge, Mawddach Trail, Cymer Abbey.
