The initiative underscores the paramount role played by women in society, while appreciating their attitudes, initiatives, will power and perseverance. The Women Icons are those who have distinguished themselves as prominent citizens, who have displayed a strong mettle and capability to perform well in any field of endeavor.
It is important that success stories of Women Leaders should be publicly recognized, so that such women not only become role models for future generations but also help change societal mindsets.
The 3rd Women Icons Asia Summit & Awards being hosted in Singapore on May 31, 2019 follows on the phenomenal success of the Women Icons Asia Summit & Awards hosted in Singapore in 2017 & 2018. The initiative has since expanded to Malaysia with Women Icons Malaysia being a regular annual calendar event since 2018.
