I built a kebab shop with functioning spinning rotisserie out of Lego bricks. It's a 16stud wide block with a taxi dispatch upstairs and a gardener living in the flat on the top floor.
Lego claim that part no. 49309 is an ice cream cone, but it's quite clearly a doner kebab! The model is hooked up to an old 9v train speed regulator on my desk but can be modified to be hand cranked instead.
