This short cinematic wildlife film follows a mongoose as it carefully searches between rocks at the edge of a seasonal river in Ranthambore. Near the end of a game drive in Zone 2 of the park, this unexpected behavior revealed itself — a quiet, focused hunt that allowed the moment to unfold naturally.

Filmed using Sony Alpha cameras, the sequence was captured handheld and in real time, preserving the authenticity of the encounter and the natural rhythm of the animal’s movement.
