From blistering heat to freezing rain, gale-force winds, slippery gravel, deep potholes, steep mountain passes and animals wandering onto the road — Lesotho does not hand out easy miles.
Over 8 days Dirk & I covered just over 3 000 km, riding through some of the most beautiful and unforgiving landscapes Southern Africa has to offer. There were moments of doubt, cold hands, soaked gear, and hard decisions — changing routes, splitting up, and riding solo when the weather turned dangerous.
This trip wasn’t just about the destination.
It was about endurance, confidence, and trusting your machine when the road disappears beneath you.
The Honda Transalp 750 handled everything I threw at it — mud, loose rocks, rain, wind, long tar stretches and brutal mountain passes. Together we created memories that will last a lifetime.
