From peaceful Japanese gardens to historic sites, from trams and trains to the iconic floating torii gate — this is a cosy travel adventure told through the eyes of a very curious little bear.

We begin at Shukkeien, a stunning 17th-century garden designed as a miniature landscape of mountains, valleys, and ponds. Beary then heads to Hiroshima Castle, once known as “Carp Castle,” before taking a reflective walk through Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and visiting the A-Bomb Dome.

Of course, no adventure would be complete without trams!
Beary explores Hiroshima’s famous streetcars, including ones decorated with local baseball and football team colours. Grandad Bear takes over the narration as the journey continues down the main tram line toward Miyajima.

After switching to JR trains for a quicker ride, we enjoy scenic tram views near Miyajimaguchi, followed by a ferry trip to see the world-famous floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine — one of Japan’s most photographed landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

As night falls, Kuma-chan wanders the city capturing atmospheric nighttime tram shots, warm cocoa in hand, before ending the day on a peaceful little bridge.
