Описание: What a powerful celebration of unity, culture, and community!

Since 2022, we’ve been celebrating the Heidelberg Holi Festival —and this year marked our fourth vibrant edition! Held as part of the International Week Against Racism, this event brought together over a hundred people from all walks of life to throw colors, make friends, and build bridges through joy, connection, and shared cultural experience.

Live in Heidelberg is a growing initiative built around celebrating culture, community, and connections. Our mission is to foster more interaction between international residents and the local community—because Heidelberg is a city that thrives on diversity, inclusion, and shared stories.
A big thank you to: – The amazing team at Völkerkundemuseum Heidelberg for hosting us, especially Dr. Alban Knecht and Robert Bitsch – Consulate General of India, Munich, with special thanks to Mr. Rajiv Chitkar – Our inspiring speakers: Deputy Mayor Martina Pfister, who gave the opening speech and added her voice to the spirit of inclusivity. – Waseem Butt and Dr. Alban, for their thoughtful words and presence during the welcome address – DJ LINCO for spinning the beats that kept us dancing – Marcel Palm from German Sherpa, for the Holi quiz and prizes.

Special thanks to Bonka and the Intercultural Zentrum Heidelberg team for guiding us to be part of the International Week Against Racism, and to Jaswinder Singh for his wonderful support in organizing this event.
