Our Winter Spiti road trip finally begins.
After starting from Delhi and taking the Shatabdi to Chandigarh, we picked up our ride for the journey — a Mahindra Thar 4x4 Diesel AT — and joined a convoy organized by Flexietrip (not sponsored).
This first day was all about getting comfortable with the cars, the terrain, and the people. Our convoy had travelers from all over India, with an amazing mix of vehicles including a Defender, Isuzu V-Cross, Jimny, Thars, Fortuner, and more.
We drove from Chandigarh to Theog and stayed at Exotica De Crest, which became the first real bonding point for everyone in the group.
This marks Day 1 of our 8-day winter road trip to Spiti Valley — and the real adventure is just getting started.
