We’re building up the new ReptiHabitat™ Pro 120 to mirror the red center of Australia for our resident Centralian bearded dragon! With all that terrarium space comes endless possibilities for enclosure design. To nail the look, we started with the substrate. Excavator Clay as the main base, paired with Outback Red ReptiSand® to bring in that iconic red color. Thanks to the moldable nature of Excavator Clay, we were able to create a dedicated area to contain sandy soil for digging and nesting. From there, we added a variety of wood pieces for climbing and hiding opportunities, and finished it off with dried grass clumps and Terrarium Leaf Litter to bring in the spinifex plains of central Australia.
