A new era is officially underway here at Webster Hauling. Over the past few months, WM has been phasing out traditional rear loaders and replacing them with a mix of brand-new side loaders and transfer trucks from other yards. While it’s definitely tough to see some of the old rear loaders go, the upgrade was long overdue, with most of them being over 15 years old.
In this video, you’ll see six side loaders arriving at the yard. One of the highlights is the Rapid Rail—arguably one of WM’s coolest side loaders—which originally came from the Chaffee yard and, before that, ran for a company in Florida. The two older Experts came from the Londonderry, New Hampshire yard and were among WM’s very first Mack LRs ever purchased.
What’s pretty funny is that we already have MSLs numbered 153008 through 153013, and now we’ve added 153006 and 153007 to the fleet as well.
