This is a classic Chinese patriotic song, loved by many old people in China. The song was written by Qiao Yu and composed by Liu Chi for the movie Battle of Shanggangling Mountain (Shanggangling better known as as Triangle Hill in the west). It was sung by the prolific opera singer Guo Lanying.
