Описание: This is the first of two online classes on Modern Theatre for Simmons College KY, in the Arts 102: Introduction to Theatre class, Spring 2020.

This video covers the change in the style of arts generally, and in theatre in particular, looking at Melodrama, Realism, and Naturalism, covering the writers Ibsen, Strindberg, and Chekhov, with a special focus on Stanislavski and his Systems of Rehearsal.
