Tokyo DisneySea | Pirates Summer Battle “Get Wet!” Soundtrack (2019)

Описание: In 2017, Tokyo DisneySea debuted an all-new summer event that replaced the Disney Summer Festival. This event was called “Disney Pirates Summer”. With this brought Pirates of the Caribbean theming to parts of Tokyo DisneySea. With this brought a new harbor show, “Pirates Summer Battle: Get Wet!”

The Story:
“Captain Barbossa and his crew take control of Porto Paradiso in Mediterranean Harbor and train guests to be pirates. Just when Barbossa thinks everything is going smoothly, Captain Jack Sparrow arrives and the battle begins!”

This event ran until 2019, it was supposed to return in 2020 for its final year, but due to the pandemic it was canceled, it also didn’t return for the 2021 summer season. It was made official that the show would not return after the barges were seen backstage being dismantled.

Fun Facts:

In 2018 part of the soundtrack was altered to include a new interactive song titled “Yo-Ho”.

In 2019, the show received an additional viewing/wet zone location near Fortress Explorations. This was the first time the area was utilized for a show since The Legend of Mythica. However since this area is further away from the rest of the harbor, a special “storyline” was created about finding Jack Sparrow’s hidden treasure map and featured live dialogue. In this special viewing area, 2 of Jack’s pirates go undercover as spies in the mix of Barbosa’s pirate crew to look for Jack’s hidden treasure on the Sailing Ship Renaissance. However, things don’t go as planned and these 2 pirates must fight Barbosa’s crew in order to save Jack’s treasure which turns out to be another treasure map.
