Описание: These videos are produced by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service for those interested in learning about meat judging, evaluation, and grading. Wideos teach the judging of meat and meat products including beef carcasses, pork carcasses, beef and pork wholesale cuts, lamb carcasses, retail cut evaluation and retail cut identification. Often college students and those students in 4H and FFA youth programs participated in meat judging contests. In this demonstration several breeds and types of sheep and goats are brought into the ring at the Texas Sheep and Goat Expo (2023) and Josh Blanek, Tom Green County Extension Agent - Agriculture and Natural Resources; Benny Cox, Sheep and Goat Sales Manager Producers Livestock Auction; and James Jones, Owner James Jones Livestock discuss the qualities and market value of each breed and type. This presented real world examples of sheep and goats in a Mock Auction setting.
