Traveling to India for the first time can feel exciting, overwhelming, and a little unpredictable — and that’s exactly why we made this video. After spending two weeks moving through Mumbai, Goa, and Kerala, we put together 8 tips we genuinely wish we knew before our first trip. These are the small things that made our days easier, helped us adjust to the pace of life, and allowed us to enjoy India with an open mind. If you’re planning your first visit or just want to know what it’s really like to travel here, we hope these tips help you feel more prepared and a lot more excited.

We rented the car from AVS Selfdrive Car Rentals (https://maps.app.goo.gl/m5fWc7edt9rMp...) and communicated to them via Whatsapp. They can deliver and pick up the car for a small fee. If you don't have a local bank account then you'll have to explain to them that you have to pay everything in cash. When you return the car, make sure to ask them to check the car right away so you can get your cash deposit back. Their normal policy is to return the deposit via bank transfer after 3 days but that only works with local banks. It was overall a smooth experience and they were really clear about pricing and checked driver details. It felt safe and they were honest, that's why we're recommending them!
