Our lifestyle is filled with shortcuts and wrong methods. We give more time for our worries and lesser time for our health.

How eating slow can help you to achieve a good health?
Eat Slowly can help you to get Better Digestion - Better Hydration - Easier Weight Loss - Better Satisfaction from food.
If it takes more than 20 minutes while eating; brain gives signal to your body; its enough you are full now. If you will eat slowly you will feel fuller and satisfied with lesser calorie intake. Its all psychology.
Our ancestors were Gobblers. They did not had methods to preserve food hence they developed habit of fast eating. That’s what they could have done to prevent wastage of food. That’s not the case anymore; however our DNA is made up of that early man’s DNA template. Hence, we need to remind ourselves on eating slow.

How do you remind yourself on eating slowly?

Chew your food as much as you can. Some say chew it 32 times.

Slow eating makes you drink more water.

All we need to do is to find a way which should remind us to eat slow while eating. Like I have eat slow app on my Fitbit. EAT Slow app on Fitbit offered by Joven is a wonderful fitbit applications which give me mild vibrations every minute for 20 minutes. With these vibrations I have the reminders to eat slowly.

Small but consistent change in our routines and habits can bring a big positive difference to our health. Keep Improving. See you healthy 😊
