EUROPEAN RAILWAYS of the 1990s
Paris Gare Du Nord (France SNCF) on 27th September 1997
It was a slightly different scene at Gare du Nord from Gare de Lyon, as with the services of SNCF there was the Eurostar running in and out, to/from Londres (London). Another SNCF Class 63500 Diesel Engine was in charge of most stock movements and a nice pleasant surprise was the arrival of a CC72000 diesel on a long service from the North. TGV's were present in the form of The "Thalys" and TGV-R. Again a very busy scene right up until we departed on our Eurostar service at 12.15 back to London.
I hope this series will appeal to the BR enthusiast as well as the European enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe and like to the channel to help support it's growing popularity. I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
