Fishing has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My brother and I have been fishing our whole lives and it's always great to meet up on our local water way for a fish. This trip was on the Hobie Lynx and we had a fun session chasing Salmon on hard body lures. The hacking River is a picturesque system and has a range of different fishing options. Australian Salmon come in and out of the system at times and can be chased with lures and bait alike. Using Light tackle Shimano rods and reels we had a nice morning chilling out on the Hobbies and catching up.
We used light spin stick 2-4kg and the double clutch lure caught all the Salmon I landed.
We put the Kayaks in at Wallys Wharf at the end of Port Hacking Road.
