Welcome to DayTrip Adventures!
Today we’re exploring two of California’s most iconic coastal hotspots: Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
We kick things off at the Santa Monica Pier, where we try to find a few Geocaches — not the easiest task with crowds everywhere, but definitely a fun challenge.
While we’re there, we also look for filming locations from Forrest Gump, including the spot where Forrest ends his cross‑country run. A must‑see moment for movie fans.
We stumble upon the Gentlemen’s Ride, a massive gathering of hundreds of classic and custom motorcycles. An incredible sight and an unexpected highlight of the day.
From Santa Monica, we walk the famous beachfront path toward Venice Beach, stopping at all the must‑see spots:
– A colorful lifeguard tower
– The legendary Venice Skatepark
– Muscle Beach
– Street performers, local artists, food stalls, and all the vibrant chaos that makes Venice Beach unforgettable
