The evacuation of patients during an emergency is a concept that should be taught and drilled with anyone who works in a healthcare environment. Here we are evaluating the use of TEAMSTEPPS for healthcare students during an "emergeny evacuation." The concept being used is one that has been developed by Doctor Kenneth Iserson, an emergency physician and published in a peer-reviewed journal.
The students taking part in the study are medical, nursing, PAs, RTs, OTs, and PTs.
