After my black tank valve broke (wouldn't open) for the second time it had to get replaced. Luckily my uncle Pat is quite handy and has lots of tools. He removed the broken valve and we cut it open to see exactly what was going wrong and then we replaced it with a new one. Winnebago has quite the setup going on for the extender handle in the case of my van.
Note: I can only say that this applies to a 2020 Travato 59GL. I have not examined any black tank valves but my own...nor do I plan to hopefully!
