"Every time we perform, the public is receiving our energy in a different way which is related to your culture also. So for example, now we felt the soul and felt that the public is together with us in the dance, which means that we are very happy that we touched the public. But in the same time, we felt happy that public is sensitive also and that (it) can receive some feelings and the story."

STORYLINE:
Artists from all over the world are bringing a diversity of cultures, music and dance to a festival in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
The second World Culture Festival in Pakistan promotes themes of peace, climate awareness and cultural exchange.
Artists are regaling the audience with contemporary dance, folk art and live music through solo and group performances.
Performers drew loud cheers for a traditional Balochi dance, while flutists and santoor players captivated the audience with their music.
Romanian artist Alina Ciceo said after her performance that it felt as if the public was "together with us in the dance."
Local artists from Pakistan performed on the opening night along with performers from the United States, Nepal, Bangladesh, Syria, Italy and Belgium.
"We have people coming from different parts of the world, sharing their struggle, sharing their conflicts, sharing their life, sharing their journey and sharing the way that they are making a difference in the world," visitor Rija Sohail said.
Organizers hope to send a message of peace through the vibrant festival.
