Описание: This video shows the hike to Middle Basin and McPheters Lake from the Highline Trailhead in the High Uintas. The trail to Middle Basin and McPheters Lake is an amazingly scenic route in the High Uintas, leading through alpine forest, across talus to the Hayden ridgeline, and down a couloir into Middle Basin. This hike was our first attempt to summit East Hayden Peak, but an issue with the water filter caused us to abort the mission. A massive lighting storm rolled in, so it ended up being a good thing we turned back. This guide follows our hike in full detail, showing the route and terrain along the way.
